Long gone are the days when Santa is available only at the mall and special events for little children. These days, Santa’s all about visiting his furry four-legged pals. Let your dog meet with Santa at one of many Santa and pet photo sessions happening around town this weekend:
Santa Paw Pictures
Dogs (and, um, cats too) are welcome to meet Santa and get a shot with him at Junction Mall next to Vancity Mission Community Credit Union in Mission, Saturday, Dec. 5, and Homestead Nursery, 31888 Marshall Rd., in Abbotsford, Sunday, Dec. 6. Katie’s Place is holding its annual Pet Photos with Santa at Bosley’s, 22745 Dewdney Trunk Rd., in Maple Ridge on Dec. 6, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is by donation.
Pictures with Santa Paws
Uptown Dawg in Port Moody hosts Pictures with Santa Paws, Sunday, Dec. 6, noon to 5 p.m. Proceeds go to SAINTS (Senior Animals In Need Today Society). In addition to photos, treat your pooch to a pawdicure, pick up some presents as they are offering 15% off everything in the store, prizes and more.
BCSPCA’s pet photos
Port Coquitlam BCSPCA Education & Adoption Centre is scheduled to hold a Pet Photos with Santa Fundraiser, Sunday, Dec. 6, 1 to 5 p.m. The fundraiser also features a raffle and more. Drop by City Square Shopping Centre in Vancouver for the annual Santa Photos for Pets, Sunday, Dec. 6, noon to 3 p.m. If you are on the Sunshine Coast, stop by Sunnycrest Mall for pet photos with Santa, Sunday, Dec. 6, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds go to the BCSPCA.
Christmas party
