Dinner anyone?

Not often do we get a chance to enjoy a nice dinner with our dogs accompanying us as our special dinner guests. Thanks to a great fundraising initiative, you and your dog can enjoy a soiree that is fit for a furry friend and you.

Pawsitively Dawgalicious

Uptown Dawg – Playcare and Spa is hosting the first annual Pawsitively Dawgalicious Evening, Thursday, June 11, 6 to 9 p.m., at the Poco Inn and Suites in Port Coquitlam, BC. Hosted by Global Television’s Morning Show host Steve Darling and his dog Lucy, the fundraising dinner is being held to support Senior Animals in Need Today Society (S.A.I.N.T.S), an end-of-life sanctuary located in Mission that provides shelter, care, and medical attention for senior and special needs animals who have nowhere else to go.

The furry festivities

Fun for canine companions includes a canine musical freestyle performance by Twinkle Toes, the dancing border collies, pawdicures provided by Uptown Dawg, a dog training demonstration, and silent auction for the two-legged companions. And for dinner, humans get to enjoy a three-course meal and dogs will be drooling over the two-course canine meal. Sounds pawsitively fun!

How to attend

Tickets are $50 per person and $5 per dog and are available at Uptown Dawg – Playcare and Spa, 2803 Murray St., Port Moody. For more details, call 604-469-DAWG (3294).
