Take your dog to work

Grab your leash and briefcase, and bring your pooch to work with you on Friday.

Will work 4 food

Pet Sitters International presents Friday, June 26, as Take Your Dog To Work Day. It’s an international event, where businesses will open their doors to employees’ pets.

Why we like it

We’re huge advocates of being able to take your dog to work with you. In a previous job, we were allowed to take our pooches to work every Friday. From a first-hand experience, employee morale is boosted when dogs are about, and there’s a sense of calmness in the office place. There’s a huge value in having pets in the workplace.

Dogs in the office are a seriously great way to ease workplace stress, boost morale, and a great way to not leave your pet at home.

How to get involved

Not too sure if you are allowed to bring your dog with you this Friday? Ask your boss, or if you are the boss, then tell all your employees about it. Check out www.takeyourdog.com, the official site of this international event. Tell your boss about it, show him the information and register online. After all, you can win prizes.
