Dogsafe 101Would you know what to do with an injured or lost dog? If you're like most people, probably not. Now there is a way that dog lovers can learn exactly how to proceed in the unfortunate circumstance that they are faced with a hurt or lost dog. The dog safety vibeBased in North Vancouver, BC, DOGSAFE Canine First Aid is Canada's only facility dedicated exclusively to canine first aid and safety. With a curriculum and manual supported by the SPCA, DOGSAFE courses are designed specifically to educate people on canine first aid and lost dog recovery skills. The goal of DOGSAFE is to teach people the skills that will empower them to take positive action in the event of any emergency involving a dog. Among the courses offered by DOGSAFE are Canine First Aid Parts 1 & 2, OPERATION FIND FIDO (which focuses on developing strong dog recovery skills), and DOGSAFE for Puppies. These courses vary in length, and can be taken by anyone from teenagers to the elderly, from dog lovers to dog professionals.
